Last week I had the pleasure of touring a beautiful 1950s farmhouse that my sweet friend, Hillary and her husband renovated. They have made this gorgeous farmhouse and acreage into the most dreamy space.
What space in your home was your favorite to decorate and why?
My favorite space to decorate in our home was what we call the ‘back room’. This light space is where we host events for family and friends. Designing with entertaining in mind made it a loving protect. We took out time selecting pieces that provide comfort and facilitate fun. We enjoy this room and all the memories that are made here.
Tell us about the farmhouse renovation, and what you have done to create this perfect home?
We snatched up this 1952 farmhouse as fast as we could. Our renovations began within the month. After nearly two years of countless remodeling projects our home has transformed into a welcoming space. Every space is stamped with our creativity and months of hard work.
What is next on your to-do list for the farmhouse?
Our next project will be to update the master bathroom vanity. It isn’t fully functional and we would like to pretty it up.
