DIY Advent Calendar

Every year during Christmas I have wanted to create an advent calendar. The holidays come and go, and I regret not doing it. This year I decided I would create one, and I did it on a budget. I used items I picked up at Hobby Lobby. Here are the pieces I used:

  • Paper Mache Advent Calendar $7.99 on sale
  • Christmas Paper pack $6.49 on sale
  • Calendar Sticker Numbers $1.99 (I used the 40% off online coupon)
  • Scotch tape

After I made the actual advent calendar, I created the activities for each day. I wanted the majority of them to be ways to give back, and I didn’t want to have to spend too much money. I also wanted activities that anyone could do, whether you have children, are married, single- no matter your status.

You can download the activities here, and if you create the advent calendar you can cut the activities into strips and put them in the little boxes. If you do not make the calendar, you can still use the download to enjoy the season with your loved ones.

If you download it and use any portion of the calendar, let me know. I would love to see you and your family or friends enjoying it. You can tag me on Instagram @oureveryday.home
