This year I decided I am finally going to get the entire house exactly like I want it. When we moved in there were projects I continued to push back. I am finally ready to get the ball rolling.

This past week I sold a few of our items we didn’t need anymore, and I started the search for the new pieces I would use. I will be posting updates over the next few months of what I have completed in the house.

We decided to start with the media room and dining room. I loved the decor we had in the dining room; however, I wanted a small update. I am going to be using some of the wall decor that I already have, and I am going to keep our chairs I purchased when we moved in. However, the dining room table will be new, and we will be adding a rug. Fingers crossed the dogs do not ruin it.

Currently in our media room we have leather couches. I do not love them, but Matt thinks they are super comfortable and isn’t ready to part with them. Therefore, we will be keeping the couches, and I have planned decor and furniture around them. This does save us quite a bit of money, which I love.

I am planning on adding new rugs in both rooms and changing out the light fixtures. The current light fixtures are not exactly cohesive to our design. I am looking forward to changing them and getting everything completed. Be patient with me though because this might take awhile to complete. Come back here for updates or change my Instagram.
