Christmas Gift Wrapping

If you are anything like me, I have to watch the YouTube gift wrapping video at least five times each year before wrapping my first present. I am not stellar at gift wrapping.

However, I have found a few tricks that can help you hide those little flaws. Nobody will even notice the massive amounts of tape or the open ends with missing wrapping paper (yes, I am serious that has happened to me.)

Add Fluff

Ribbon, twine or yarn is one the the easiest ways to take the gift receivers eyes off of the mistakes. They will see the beautiful ribbon and miss the giant scotch tape errors you made on the ends, I promise. These are a few of my favorites to use, you can shop them below.

Greenery is Good

Adding a little greenery to your packages is another great way to spruce up the gift wrapping. I buy the 50% off Christmas picks from Hobby Lobby and cut them up into pieces. I glue them onto the gift wrapping. You can also check out the Target dollar spot for Christmas greenery.

When in Doubt

If you really are doubting your wrapping abilities, do not be afraid to buy a cute bag and jazz it up ribbon. I totally get that wrapping gifts isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. Walmart and Target both have a ton of adorable bags and boxes for gift wrapping this year. Instead of stressing out about the wrapping, just opt for one of their cute boxes.
