This is the fun part! Choosing a color palette is my favorite, but I lean towards neutrals typically. Neutrals allows me to branch out with my rug selections.

You don’t have to spend a fortune to redecorate your shelves. I shop my own home before before buying anything new. Give it a try!

Add Texture

Texture can be added by using a variety of different materials. I like to use metals and wood to add texture to my shelves. Dry florals are a great way to add texture for the fall season.

Balance Items with Height

Try stacking items such as books and boxes to add height to each individual shelf. This will add balance to the viewers eye.

Make it your Own

My number one tip for decorating is make your shelves your own. Do not worry about any of the “rules” out there. If you like the shelves and the decor, that is all that matters.
